Twenty two percent of Guyanese women between the ages of 15 to 64 have suffered from spousal abuse at least once in their lifetime. This was revealed during a recent Domestic Violence seminar which saw 132 Police Officers receiving hands on training on how to effectively treat with Domestic violence cases..
