Venezuela Aggression Guyana 2025:
During her budget presentation, Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Amanza Walton-Desir criticized the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) for its silence in the face of recent acts of aggression by Venezuela. She described CARICOM’s lack of response as “defining and disappointing,” calling for greater regional solidarity in defending Guyana’s sovereignty.
