POLICE GOT MILK NOT COCAINE – TWO RELEASED FROM POLICE CUSTODY

Two persons have been released from police custody after lab tests proved Milk- NOT cocaine.


Police on Thursday afternoon admitted that the twelve packets of Fernleaf Milk suspected to be mixed with cocaine had no trace of narcotics in their contents. In a release, the police said tests were conducted on Wednesday by the Guyana Forensic Science Laboratory.


The packets were seized on Monday from a departing female passenger at the Eugene F Correia International Airport Ogle. Both the woman and man who were arrested have been released from police custody. Travis Chase has the details.
