Construction worker stabbed to death during argument at Haslington 

A construction worker of Lot 162 Haslington, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was on Thursday night stabbed to death during an argument.

Dead is 42-year-old Eric Fraser, called ’50 Cent.’ He was between 19:30 h and 19:35h at Haslington North.

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) reported that Fraser left home at about 16:00h and was at a barbershop at Haslington North, where he was liming with friends.

An argument ensued between the now-deceased man and the suspect, who took out a weapon and dealt him a stab to his left-side groin.

Fraser ran about 200 feet and collapsed. He was picked up by an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from the Melanie Fire Station and rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body was examined, and a stab wound was observed. The body is awaiting a Post Mortem Examination (PME) at the hospital’s mortuary.
