GUYANA WILL DEFEND ITS TERRITORY AGAINST VENEZUELA AS PARLIAMENT MEETS TO DISCUSS MOTION

The National Assembly, after an extended session of deliberations, has successfully passed a motion demonstrating unified support for the Government and the people of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. This motion also reaffirms the legitimacy of the 1899 Arbitral Award and the adherence to the terms of the 1966 Geneva Agreement.
