The recent dismissal of one hundred and forty-two employees by RUSAL is not sitting well with the President of the Guyana Bauxite and General Workers Union who says the Department of Labor’s inability to hold the bauxite company accountable for its labour infractions is the reason why the country’s labour laws continue to be defied.
