WATER TAXIS TO OPERATE ROUND THE CLOCK DURING THREE DAY CLOSURE OF HARBOUR BRIDGE

Renata Burnette provides an update on the arrangements made by boat operators who serve the Georgetown to Vreed-en-Hoop route during the three-day closure of the Demerara Harbour Bridge, starting Monday, July 24. In response to the bridge closure, these boat operators have agreed to work around the clock to ensure the transportation of passengers across the Demerara River.

This proactive approach aims to mitigate the inconvenience caused by the bridge closure and ensure that commuters can still access reliable transportation during the specified period.
