CYBERCRIME CHARGE DISMISSED AGAINST MAN ACCUSED OF EMBARRASSING HOME AFFAIRS PERMANENT SECRETARY

In this report by Tiana Cole, it has been revealed that a City Magistrate has dismissed a cybercrime charge against a man who was accused of cyberbullying Mae Toussaint Jr. Thomas, the Permanent Secretary (PS) of Home Affairs, on his WhatsApp status.

The charge was related to the man allegedly posting offensive content directed toward the PS on his WhatsApp status, which led to legal proceedings. However, after examining the evidence and arguments presented, the City Magistrate ruled in favor of the defendant, resulting in the dismissal of the cybercrime charge.
